Lucky tickets sold in Anne Arundel, Baltimore counties
The Maryland Lottery is ready to welcome players in two games who became big winners on Saturday, March 19.
One lucky player bought a $67,866 FAST PLAY World Championship Poker jackpot-winning ticket at Wawa #8522 at 9809 Belair Road in Perry Hall. This was the third jackpot-winning ticket sold in the $5 game.
On Saturday night, a lucky Powerball player won a $50,000 third-tier prize on a ticket bought at the Soda Pop Shop located at 337 Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie. The winning numbers in the March 19 drawing were 8, 9, 18, 48 and 52; the Powerball was 6 and the Power Play multiplier was x2.
Lottery officials encourage the winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. Winners get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes.

Players must redeem prizes larger than $25,000 by mail or at Lottery headquarters in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330 in Baltimore. Winners can also drop off a winning ticket along with a completed claim form and copies of their photo ID and proof of Social Security/Tax ID number in the Lottery drop box in the Montgomery Park Business Center lobby.
