Bonus Match 5 tickets are bearer instruments. For your protection, sign the back of your ticket. A playslip is neither a valid receipt, nor proof of purchase. Your game ticket, not your playslip, is the only valid proof of the selection made and the only valid proof for claiming your prize.
Before you leave the retailer’s location, be sure to verify that the selections on your ticket are the selections you requested on your playslip, including numbers selected and the drawing(s) you want to enter. You have sole responsibility for check the accuracy of the data printed on your ticket(s). Your ticket will be valid for the drawing dates printed on your ticket. The Lottery is responsible for only numbers actually played via the Lottery terminal. Neither the Lottery, nor Lottery retailers, will be responsible for printing errors.
Bonus Match 5 tickets can only be cancelled by the same Lottery retailer who sold the ticket and only on the day of purchase prior to game closings.
By purchasing a Bonus Match 5 ticket, the player agrees that all Maryland Bonus Match 5 game rules and the rules stated in this brochure and on the playslip, as well as Maryland State Lottery laws, regulations, rules, and policies, and other applicable laws and any changes to any of the above, govern all aspects of the Bonus Match 5 ticket, game, playslip, prizes and payment.
The Lottery is not responsible for lost, stolen, or destroyed tickets, tickets redeemed by a Lottery retailer in error, or winning numbers repeated or displayed in error. All winning tickets are subject to validation by the Lottery in accordance with Lottery rules and regulations. Prizes are not assignable or transferrable. All winnings are subject to state and federal taxation. Tickets may not be sold to, bought or cashed by minors under the age of 18. Prizes must be claimed within 182 days after the drawing date.
