Keno
Additional Rules
Keno and/or Packaged Keno To Go (jointly or individually called “Keno/PKTG”) tickets, with or without the Bonus or Super Bonus features, are bearer instruments. For your protection, sign the back of your game ticket. A playslip is neither a valid receipt nor proof of purchase. Your game ticket, not your playslip, is the only valid proof of the selections made and the only valid proof for claiming a prize. Tickets are effective/valid only for the game numbers shown on your ticket.
Before you leave the retailer’s location, be sure to verify that the selections on your ticket are the selections you requested on your playslip, including numbers selected and the number of spots and games you want to play. You have the sole responsibility for checking the accuracy of the data printed on your ticket. No corrections may be made during or after the first drawing on your ticket. The Maryland Lottery® (“Lottery”) is responsible only for numbers actually played via the Lottery terminal. Neither the Lottery, nor Lottery retailers, will be responsible for printing errors.
Keno/PKTG tickets can be cancelled only by the same Lottery retailer who sold the ticket and only on the day of purchase prior to the first draw on the ticket. During certain promotions, some tickets cannot be cancelled.
By purchasing a Keno/PKTG ticket, you agree that all Lottery Keno/PKTG Game Rules and the rules stated in this brochure and on the playslips, as well as the Maryland State Lottery Laws, regulations, rules, and policies, and all other applicable laws and any changes to any of the above, govern all aspects of the Keno/PKTG games, features, tickets, playslips, prizes and payment.
The Lottery is not responsible for lost, stolen or destroyed tickets, tickets redeemed by a Lottery retailer in error, or winning numbers repeated or displayed in error. All winning tickets are subject to validation by the Lottery in accordance with Lottery rules and regulations. Prizes are not assignable or transferable. All winnings are subject to state, local and federal taxation. Tickets may not be sold to, bought by or cashed by minors under the age of 18. Prizes must be claimed within 182 days after the date of the relevant drawing.
