Baltimore Woman Wins $50,000 in Quest To Become Multimillionaire

“SC” of Baltimore remains on the hunt for a multimillion-dollar jackpot after collecting a $50,000 third-tier Powerball prize.

Winning third-tier Powerball prize makes her happy while hoping there’s more on the way

She usually plays the big rolling jackpot games in hopes of becoming a multimillionaire, but a woman from Baltimore is still tickled she won a fraction of that amount playing Powerball. After all, her “fraction” turned out to be $50,000.

“It’s good. I’m happy about it,” the player said after claiming her prize at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore. The anonymous player is going by the alias “SC” to tell her tale of winning big. Previously, her best score was $250. She has also won a few dollars here and there, mainly playing Powerball and Mega Millions.

“SC” said she is attracted to the games because of “the chances of winning and hitting it big. The goal every time is to hit the jackpot!”

The loyal player remains on the hunt for that jackpot win. Her $50,000 prize came on a quick-pick ticket purchased for the Nov. 11 drawing at Catonsville Shell, located at 925 Frederick Road in Catonsville. She confirmed she is continuing to play, adding, “I played today!”

The lucky winner plans to put her windfall in the bank and use it for a few household repairs. She’s also saving for a 2024 Caribbean Island vacation, and the prize will go a long way toward growing that account.
