A Cecil County resident hoping to win at least double his $5 investment in a Maryland Lottery scratch-off picked the right game at the right time at a Port Deposit Lottery retailer. The 59-year-old won a $50,000 top prize on a Double Your Money instant ticket!
The game, which joined the Lottery lineup on Feb. 22, has prizes starting at $10 to double the return on its purchase price. Although there are a number of ways to win on this ticket, the lucky Conowingo resident did so instantly by finding a “10X” symbol in the scratch-off’s last row over a prize of $5,000.
Lottery retailer Lion Xpress has something to celebrate, too! The Cecil County business located at 1252 Jacob Tome Memorial Highway in Port Deposit will receive a $500 bonus for selling a $50,000 top-prize winning scratch-off.
