Wins $30,000 top prize on her first FAST PLAY game
A lucky 53-year old from the Eastern Shore enjoyed a tasty treat when she played the FAST PLAY Fortune Cookie® game.
The winner, who chose to remain anonymous and use the nickname “George,” won the $3 game’s $30,000 top prize. “George” of Salisbury reports that she tried her luck for the first time with a FAST PLAY ticket because her favorite scratch-off games were not available that day at Shore Stop #211 in Salisbury. She feels the win was “meant to be” because of her beginner’s luck.
Initially, “George” experienced a great deal of shock and disbelief when she revealed the prize. The Wicomico County resident said she had never won more than $1,000. As for how she plans to spend the newfound fortune, “George” plans to pay for a vacation cruise and save the rest for a rainy day.
Shore Stop #211 shares in their good fortune, receiving a $300 bonus from the Lottery for selling a top-prize winning scratch-off. The Fortune Cookie® game went on sale on April 3 and has nine remaining $30,000 top prizes along with 109 $1,000 second-tier prizes.
